Friday 31st us was presented in the council chamber on Functional Redevelopment Project of the “Guardian’s House of the Dante Complex” created by the students of the 2nd and 3rd classes under the supervision of the teacher Leonardo Evangelista. At 4.30 pm, at the “D. Auditorium”. FORTE” of the Vittorio Emanuele III headquarters, the performance of the Piano course “Black and white… but in colour” supervised by the teacher Annamaria Fortunato. We continue Monday 3 Juneat 5.00 pm in the Council Room of the Municipality of Andria, with the presentation of the project ‘Edidit Andrum’ a path of historical research on information obtainable from sources and documents that mention the city of Andria from the Early Middle Ages to the 12th century. The students of classes 1°C and 2°C, led by prof. Mario Piccarreta, will present a series of news on the first documents that report the name of our city, information on the important value of the Lombard invasion in our territory (usually little cited and known compared to the Norman one), news on the organization of the territory and on the development urban planning. Central will be the interpretative analysis of the relevant document from 1046 which concerns “Andrum” as well as some neighboring cities. Finally, the contribution on some Lombard customs obtained from transcriptions of 11th century parchments, especially those relating to marriages, will be original.

Wednesday 5 Juneat 5.30 pm, at the D. Forte Auditorium – Vittorio Emanuele III headquarters, the students of class 3°A, coordinated by prof. Marco Galicethey will bring to the stage ‘Driver’s license’a splendid novel by Luigi Pirandello, in which life in common in the same city, people’s habits, traditions and widespread superstitions produce situations that are tragic in their absurdity.

Grand finale Thursday 6 Juneat 7 pm in the courtyard of Via Genova – Vittorio Emanuele III headquarters, with ‘Totò, Peppino and the… bad woman. The School’s Theater Company, coordinated by the teachers Rosaria Mezzina and Marina Grecowith the participation of School choir directed by prof. Vincenzo Laterza and Vittoria Rinaldi, will bring to the stage the theatrical adaptation of the famous 1956 film starring the Caponi brothers.

A series of events that represent not only an opportunity for celebration and reflection, but also a crucial moment of transition in view of the next school dimensioning. A school community that has worked tirelessly to ensure each student has a year of rich and meaningful learning, despite the challenges encountered along the way.
