The Illuminata 2024 is already starting to characterize the city of Cuneo. In fact, on the morning of today 3 June, the construction of the lights in Via Roma began, ready to be switched on from 5 July, when the event will begin.
For almost a month – it will end on July 28th – the city will once again come alive with events and lights. This edition will celebrate the recognition of Alpine City of 2024 obtained from the Municipality of Cuneo. The official inauguration will be held, as mentioned, on July 5th with the first lighting at 9.30pm. Light shows set to music will be held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10pm and 10.30pm. There are many collateral events: the craft markets, the “Flower Power” evening by Palà, the “Race under the lights”, “Illuminabici”, the “A thousand lights on the plate” dinner, the Solemn Procession of the Madonna del Carmine, the Infiorata, the concert of the Polifonici del Marchesato, the Descent of the Superheroes, the evening “A night in Cuneo Illuminata” with the Club Silencio in San Francesco and much more. Cuneo Illuminata will donate part of the funds raised during the events at the ABIO Cuneo ODV association for the project to furnish the rooms of the Pediatrics department of the S. Croce and Carle Hospital.
