LATINA – Great joy for the Ukrainian kids visiting Italy these days as part of the bilateral initiatives promoted by a trade union organization of the Ukrainian National Police, in collaboration with the embassy. Thanks to the precious collaboration of the ANPS of Terracina, they were able to participate in the provincial celebrations organized by the Prefecture of Latina on the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of the Italian Republic, which took place this morning in Latina.
The boys visited the stands organized by the State Police and other police forces and had the opportunity to participate in the formal ceremony, with the deployment of men and vehicles of the armed forces and police present in the square.
During the ceremony the Prefect of Latina, accompanied by the Police Commissioner, then handed over the award as Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic to First Director of the State Police Dr. Roberto Pietrosanti, originally from this province and currently serving at the Spinaceto Multifunctional Centre, a moment in which the children participated with amazement and joy.
“A day of sharing values and friendship that the Latina Police Headquarters strongly wanted for these young people and which made the event organized by the Latina Prefecture even more special,” we read in a note.
