In recent days the President of the Lions Club Carpi Host Marco Arlettiaccompanied by his partner Enzo Bordinimet the representatives of the Caritas Listening Centers of the Carpi Parishes together with Don Antonio Dotti director of the Missionary Office. In the short meeting, held at the Parish of Quartirolo, shopping vouchers were distributed for families assisted by the Listening Centers as well as vouchers from the Cinquepani Participatory Emporium. “The summer closure of the Caritas Centers is approaching – explained President Arletti – and our Club thought that shopping vouchers could be useful for families in difficulty, especially at this time. It also wants to be a thank you for the challenging activity you carry out in the area. I would also like to thank our partner Enzo Bordini who also wanted to personally contribute to the purchase of the vouchers”. Appreciation and thanks were expressed by those present and by Don Dotti who reiterated how the needs are growing as well as the requests for the payment of bills and other things. “These shopping vouchers are a breath of fresh air in this period where the supply of basic food supplies is increasingly difficult”.
