Race 1 – Slater mocked after the finish line

38 cars on track for the start of the Imola round of the Formula 4 championship, with Hiyu Yamakoshi to conquer all three pole positions of the weekend. Race 2 – Yamakoshi wins again

When the traffic lights go out, race two is Yamakoshi to start, again, from pole position. The Japanese driver is joined by Jack Beeton, while the second row is made up of Akshay Bohra and Alex Powell. The Van Amersfoort driver starts in the best possible way, followed by Beeton. Bohra is in the sights of Slater and Powell, both Prema squires. Having reached the halfway point of the race, the podium changes, with Bohra overtaking Beeton for second place. The Australian driver loses the chance to win after contact with Slater, which sends both of them into a spin. Gowda thus climbs to third position. The first Safety Car of the race came onto the track shortly afterwards, due to Koller, who stopped on the track. The green flag returns to wave for the final rounds, which end with Yamakoshi’s success, ahead of Bohra and Gowda.

Race 3 – Success for Slater

For Race 3, the pole position was occupied again by Yamakoshi, flanked by Beeton. The second row belongs to Slater and Rehm. At the start the Japanese remained in the lead, while Prema’s Freddie Slater made a great start and moved into second place. The ranking crystallizes, with the race continuing statically. The first twist arrives ten minutes before the checkered flag, with Larini finding the barriers and leading to the entry of the Safety Car. At the restart, Powell closes in on Beeton to chase third position, but the Australian defends tenaciously. The podium changes on the final lap, with Slater passing Yamakoshi for the win. The Japanese driver in fact damaged the car, now without a wing, and was also overtaken by Beeton and Rehm, who completed the podium.
