Awards ceremony of the 12th edition of “The woman tells her story”, an international literary event, organized by the association of the same name which this year also awards the “Junior Study” prize reserved for students and those of Soroptimist Pesaro, provincial and municipal Cif, and Fidapa – BPW Pesaro. Posthumous recognition to Giovanna Renzini, sensitive and creative writer and collaborator of the association for years. The awarding of the awards was conducted by the president of “La donna si narra”, together with Marcella Tinazzi and Giuliana Ceccarelli, both members of the award jury. The ceremony opened with the Special Woman Award assigned to Emanuela Saveria Greco, prefectess of Pesaro and Urbino and Francesca Perrotta, director of the Olimpia Orchestra. Then it was the turn of the schools with awards for poetic and narrative works. Pirandello Institute: Emma Mencaccini, Margherita Angeloni, Greta Antonelli, Andrea Benvenuti; Mengaroni art high school: Veronica Mazza, Giulia Gaudenzi, Amelia Maltoni; Mamiani classical high school: Serena Segarelli. Last part dedicated to adult fiction. Edited Section Awards: 1st Maura Garofoli for “The Emperor’s Violets”; 2nd Francesca Ferrante for “Melodies of women”; 3rd Silvana Donatini for “The elegance of my silence”. Unpublished Section Awards: 1st Caterina Borelli with “False Testament”; 2nd Elisabetta Darida with “L’amour fou”; 3rd Gabriella Guidi with “A cursed life”. Fidapa Award to Maria Giovanna Cappellini with “Gate”; Sorptimist Award to Barbara Balducci with “Immagine di donna”; Cif Award to Anna Maria Banci with “Meravigliosa”. At Maralshams in Milan the Foreigners Award for “Woman, life and freedom”. The Adult Poetry Section saw Martina Lelli as the winner with “Di me in te”; second Antonietta Squillante with “Resurrezione”; third Giovanna Vagnerini with “The woman is collected”. “Senza nome è questo vento” by Daniela Gregorini was awarded the Special City of Pesaro Award. Silloge Poesia awards to: 1st Monia Casadei for “I still haven’t said my silence”; 2nd Maria Pia Renzi for “Fairy tales are afraid”; 3rd Milena Arcuri Rossi for “The perfume of my verses”. “A suspended woman” by Monica Gori, “Sogno” by Marta Sansavini and “The Last Flight” by Lucia Lo Bianco received Poetry Mentions.
