It took place yesterday at the “Stella Maris” Comprehensive Institute Of Anzio the competition awards ceremonyA poster for peace” promoted by Lions Club “Rome South Coast Villa Imperiale-Forte Sangallo”.
The initiative, of high educational value, is proposed every year at an international level to students to underline the importance of peace, tolerance and understanding between countries around the world.
Young people are invited to reflect on the importance of peace by creatively expressing their idea of peace with a poster to share it with others.
The President of the Roma Litorale Sud Club, Francesco Bonanniin the presence of the Headmaster, Sister Annamaria Asero, rewarded the student Arianna Clavari che received two awards, a medal from the Club and a certificate of merit with related medal from Lions International District for standing out in the competition.
At the end of the ceremony, President Bonanni underlined the importance of peace and above all the value of knowledge and culture which makes human beings aware and free in their choices.
Congratulations to Arianna Clavari, to all the students of the eighth grade class of the institute for their interest and constructive participation and a heartfelt thanks to the teachers and the school director who contributed to the realization of this significant project.
