FCI Marche: celebration of the “Republic Day” on 2 June with cycling events

Riding routes and races between Chiarino di Recanati, Carpegna, Matelica and Montecassiano

RECANATI

Recanati, 1 June 2024 – The march leading to the setting up, by the Recanati Cycling Association, of the day dedicated to youth cycling with the traditional events of the ACLI Chiarino Club Trophy (rookies) and the SS Trophy is proceeding quickly on Sunday 2 June. In the morning the race dedicated to first year beginners (31 kilometers – starting at 9.00) and second year (38 kilometers – starting at 10.10) while in the afternoon the students will be on stage (70 kilometers – starting at 3.00).

Three races over the course of an entire day which will have the cream of regional and extra-regional cycling at the start with 69 first-year novices registered, 86 second-years and 172 students at the start.

CARPEGNA

For the fifteenth time, on Sunday 2 June, the mountain bike granfondo Carpegna is enough for me has become a classic of spring events, after the forced autumn edition last October due to bad weather.

MATELICA

Double-digit edition (10) of the Baby Garden Bike in Matelica on Sunday 2 June organized by the Matelica Cycling Group to best welcome the very young between the ages of 7 and 12.

The event consists of a non-competitive ride on an entirely flat and dirt route with minor difficulties in the public gardens of Matelica (meeting at 2.00pm and starting at 3.00pm).

There will be stations where children can carry out cycling skill tests under the supervision of federal instructors.

MONTECASSIANO

Edition number 10 of the BC Giro organized by the Velo Club Montecassiano.

Pedaling without haste is once again the claim of this event on Sunday 2 June: everyone in the saddle on a 23 kilometer route (Sambucheto, San Firmano di Montelupone, Sambucheto) between descent and plain starting from the central Piazza Unità d’Italia at 8.15am.
