At around 2.30 pm yesterday, Friday 31 May 2024, the police officers were alerted by the report of unidentified screams coming from the Via Scolari area in Vicenza.

The officers immediately went to the scene and found HM, Bosnian citizen born in 1985, homeless in Italy, therefore subjected to on-site checks. The 39-year-old was found to be burdened by a measure restricting personal freedom to be executed, issued by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Verona as a cumulation of sentences for various final sentences for various crimes committed in various provinces.

He will have to serve 6 years and 9 months

In fact, he had been convicted in 2012 for a robbery committed in Loreggia, for a residential burglary/theft with robbery and resistance to a public official committed in 2008 in Bologna and for another robbery committed in Castel d’Azzano (Verona) in 2016.
