Monza racetrack, the covering of the stands is inspired by the wings of birds

The concept of the stands harmonizes perfectly with the surrounding environment, creating a visual and functional link between the Monza Park and the racetrack itself. The design features a dramatic and lightweight cover, inspired by the wings of birds in flight, a concept that has also influenced the design of racing car spoilers. The curvilinear slat façade contributes to giving lightness and transparency to the structure.

Monza racetrack, maximum comfort and excellent visibility for the new grandstands

In addition, the new grandstands at the Monza Autodromo were designed following the international best practices to ensure maximum comfort and optimal visibility, considering sufficient space and adequate visibility for spectators. The spaces under the stands and the sky boxes, made with prefabricated modules, offer self-sufficient and easily modifiable architectural solutions, in response to the capacity and functionality needs of the circuit over time.

New stands and universal accessibility

The new structures of the Monza Autodromo will comply with strict ESG criteria, including solutions for universal accessibility and the integration of sustainable technologies such as photovoltaic panels and a solar thermal system for the production of hot water. The next phase of the project will include the detailed design of stands capable of hosting approximately 6,000 spectators, with the aim of obtaining all the administrative authorizations necessary for construction.
