Car fire in Tivoli: mystery and destruction in the night

The quiet night in Tivoli turned into a nightmare for owners of cars parked near the stadium, where six vehicles were completely destroyed and another four damaged by a fire of still unknown origin.

Flames envelop cars in Piazza Grande Torino

Last night, shortly after midnight, the heart of Piazza Grande Torino was the scene of a violent fire which affected several cars parked in the area. The Fire Brigade immediately intervened on site, working to put out the flames, and the Carabinieri from the Tivoli station, now working to clarify the causes of the accident.

The cars destroyed and damaged by the fire

The consequences of the fire were devastating for the owners of the vehicles involved. Among the cars completely destroyed were a Fiat Punto, a Hyundai Tucson, a Santa Fe, a Lancia Y, a Renault Megane and a Peugeot Partner. Four other cars, including a Renault Espace, a Jeep Compass, an Opel Corsa and a Ford Fiesta, were partially damaged by the fire.

Investigations underway to unravel the mystery of the fire

Investigators are currently working to uncover the truth behind this criminal act. The owners of the damaged cars said they had not received any threats and it was the residents who alerted the authorities once they smelled the acrid smell of the fire.

The investigations will focus on the findings at the site of the fire and potentially on the analysis of the recordings of the surveillance cameras present in the area, in order to identify any persons responsible for this serious episode of vandalism.
