Ludovico Bomben he is known and appreciated on the national and international art scene. He also exhibited at the 54th Venice Art Biennale, at the Tina B Festival in Prague, at the Bevilacqua Foundation, and again at Dolomiti Contemporanee, Premio Cairo at Palazzo Reale Milan, Villa Manin in Passariano, Museo Revoltella in Trieste, Talent Prize, Fabbri Award, CAREOF – Via Farini, Cramum Award. He obtained a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice after having attended the four-year course of Decoration B. In the last years of his work he has shifted his attention from the environment to the object, concentrating on the study of the relationships between material, language and form. and concept. This analysis led him to the use of some symbols belonging to the sacred sphere which becomes a new territory of investigation. Between golden proportions and formal rigor Bomben has developed a rereading and redefinition of the sacred image in the contemporary world: in original terms, ancient Western and Eastern traditions are interpreted by him through the wise and highly calibrated use of new generation industrial materials and techniques.

«Ludovico Bomben with clear determination follows the path of an insightful conceptual symbolism that must be decided at the heart of the problem, that of making art today – explains the curator Angelo Bertani –. There are two main and founding dimensions within which he carries out his exploration: space and time; the space generated by his work, the punctual and dilated time of the very perception of him. Each work of the young artist is enclosed in a protected enclosure, inhortus conclusus of its own completeness and yet it also opens outward, towards another meaning that gives shape to the space that contains it, or that receptively hosts it. Ludovico Bomben’s attention, since his first works, has been focused on the revealing function of light. On this level, Bomben’s work has a hermeneutic foundation, not representative but interpretative: the work of art is a perceptive and intellectual event in which there is an approach to the essence of things”.
