L’AQUILA – A quick, surprise flight over the city to honor the memory of Paolo Dal Pozzo, the co-pilot of the 118 helicopter who died when he was hit by a tanker during the first day of the Airshow, yesterday at the airport of Magistrate. Today should have been the big day of the Frecce Tricolori performance, but the event was obviously cancelled. And so the National Aerobatic Team decided to honor the memory of the unfortunate 41-year-old with a flyover over the city, with tricolor smoke, around 10.40 in the morning.
