Direct comparison with the former Cosenza coach, twice promoted to Serie B: progress in the negotiation but there is still no white smoke. The arrival of the Calabrian coach would mean building a squad for the very top positions. The most concrete alternative is Troise, formerly Rimini

Contact with Fabio Caserta. The negotiations with the former Cosenza coach have seen some progress, even if we cannot yet speak of white smoke. But Arezzo is serious and this is a very hot track for the near future. It had already been understood for a few days that the Calabrian coach was at the top of the amaranth list, if not at the top, and the fact that the parties had a direct discussion supports the thesis.

It’s clear that if the company is going to explore such a name, it means that it is willing to take on him related charges. Caserta won the C series twice with Juve Stabia and Perugia, he coached in B in Benevento (where he reached the playoffs) and in Cosenza and is a coach who would return to the third series with a substantial contract both from the point of view of engagement and duration. Furthermore, but it is almost superfluous to underline it, he would only espouse a highly ambitious project, aimed at the very top positions in the rankings. Which would mean setting up a signing campaign with top-tier players.

The director Nello Cutolo he would like to define the bench issue by next week, without prejudice to the fact that the dynamics of the negotiations are not always predictable. Caserta has a market in B, even if in the last few hours it has been linked to both Crotone (where however it seems to be made with Longoex Picerno) that al Riminiwhere he just came from Emanuele Troise.

And this is another very concrete profile for Arezzo, even if different from Caserta. It would certainly cost less, even at staff level, and would complete a growth path that took him from the youth team (to Bologna did very well) to Serie D (promotion play-off lost against Brindisi at the helm of Cavese) up to the Lega Pro (tenth place as a substitute with the Romagna team).

The final decision should not go beyond the first few days of June.
