RECANATI The city of Leopardi and the world of medicine mourn the passing of Marziano Moretti. He was 79 years old and passed away after having fought for some time against an illness that left him no escape. An ophthalmologist, he was well known throughout the region: he had worked at the Umberto Primo hospital in Ancona and in the hospitals of Pesaro, Senigallia and Fano.

Volunteering

For years he has put his profession at the service of the most needy as a volunteer during the summer in Ethiopia. For years he had had his own clinic in via Passero solitaire and was involved in his daughter’s optical centre. The funeral will take place on Monday at 10am in the Church of Christ the Redeemer. The funeral home was set up at the Bamo funeral home in via Cupa Madonna di Varano.
