Guidonia, homeless people transform the neighborhood into a drug dealing base: Albanian and Romanian arrested

Guidonia Montecelio: two homeless foreigners had seen fit to build their busy drug dealing business without having to get their hands dirty, selling drugs a few meters from where they lived in the open, believing they wouldn’t attract too much attention. However, the coming and going of “customers” made the police suspicious enough to have them arrested.

Two homeless foreigners were arrested after the police discovered a coming and going of “customers” interested in drugs, near the place where they lived

Two homeless men therefore ended up in handcuffs: 21 year old Romanian and a 19 year old Albanian.

Now the two young people from Eastern Europe will have to answer for the crime of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing, which had been carried out night and day for some time, near the building where they lived, in the Campolimpido area, outskirts of Guidonia Montecelio.

Their movements were kept under control for a long time by the military personnel who reconstructed a solid accusatory framework before intervening on the morning of last Wednesday, May 22nd, during constant anti-drug patrols.

During the raid to proceed with the arrest, the two were surprised in the street, a few steps from where they lived, and at the sight of the police one of the two he threw away a bag containing 26 grams of cocaine divided into 46 doses ready for sale, to get rid of it.

Continuing the search, the police found an artificially created niche inside in a pillar of the building, two precision scales and a machine for “vacuum packing” drug doses and seal them before being sold. This material was also all seized, together with “cutting” material.

Once the investigations were completed, the two homeless men were then arrested, in agreement with the Tivoli Public Prosecutor’s Office and taken to the security rooms of the Tivoli Carabinieri Company.

The arrest was subsequently validated by the Judge for preliminary investigations.

Recently in Rome another homeless man, a 49-year-old Brazilian, attacked a woman who was stopped in her car at a traffic light for the purpose of robbery, trying to strangle her to steal her purse.

As always we remember that all suspects are to be considered presumed innocent until a final conviction is reached and any evidence will be formed in the various stages of the trial. We are still in the preliminary investigation phase.
