There will also be workshops all over the place‘Edufest, the Education Festival, the largest Italian event dedicated to children, families, teachers and professionals in the world of education. In fact, within the event hosted at Villa Ghirlanda from Saturday 25th to Sunday 26th May there will be some proposals, curated by Cinifabrique, dedicated in particular to children.
“Our creative writing workshop It has a simple and immediate approach – he explains Simona Spadavecchia, curator of the initiative – and starts from our five senses. With the help of imagination and thanks to a guided sensory experience, children will try to observe some elements related to the sea in an original way and will use them to write their very personal marine-themed story. Because with words you can imagine the sea even where it isn’t there. And so we will try to give an answer to the question: but is there the sea in Cinisello?” .
“The tile shop” is the laboratory proposed by Maria Vicari and aimed at very young children aged 3 to 5 years. “It will be serious, it will be a real work experience, but for the children it will be a game; through indications and guidance they will complete the work up to the final result. With the help and guidance of an adult, the little ones, with the help of simple frames, will prepare many tiles.”
The weaving workshop proposes the combination of technique and creativity. The proposal aimed at children and young people aged 3 to 14 is to weave a personalized bookmark using various types of yarn. “In a frenetic time like ours – he explains Lidia Miottoresponsible for the activity – we must learn to recover the slow but profitable pace of reading and manual work”.
