In 2023, Brescia was the second provincial capital of Lombardy which in 2023 collected the most from fines and sanctions deriving from violations of the Highway Code by private individuals. Our province (with 12.4 million) is in second place preceded only by Milan (147 million). Our provincial capital is placed in fifth place, on equal merit with Bergamo, if the per capita value is analysed, calculated as the ratio between revenues and the number of resident inhabitants: from this point of view, first place is still finds Milan (108 euros), followed by Pavia (90 euros), Mantua (73 euros), Como (65 euros), Brescia and Bergamo (both with 63 euros), Lecco and Varese (36 euros), Cremona (32 euros ) and Sondrio (31 euros).
