Today, in front of the Town Hall of Casale Monferrato, a demonstration is taking place by nursery school teachers, who are protesting for working conditions and for the protection of families. The Democratic Party (PD) of Casale Monferrato expressed maximum solidarity with the educators, reiterating a commitment that has lasted for months.
The PD, in fact, has repeatedly taken a public position on the issue, raising questions in the city council to guarantee the protection of the workers and families involved. Despite the reassurances received from the municipal administration, today’s protest clearly demonstrates that the problems have not been resolved.
The secretary of the Casale Monferrato PD club declared: “We were told that everything was fine, let alone! And today’s protest is, in concrete terms, proof of this.” This statement highlights the contrast between the administration’s statements and the reality experienced by educators.
The event also brings to light the controversial management of nursery school tenders, which has seen the current municipal council at the center of controversy. The PD harshly criticized the administration for its management of procurement, saying it was one of the worst displays of inefficiency.
