Itema, a Bergamo-based company among the world leaders in the supply of advanced weaving solutions, and Tofflon Science and Technology Group Co. Ltd., an Asian giant in the pharmaceutical sector, organized a major event on 16 May 2024 to inaugurate Tofflonit, the new company dedicated to the production of industrial freeze dryers for the biopharmaceutical sector which operates under the name of Tofflon Itema Srl.
Tofflon Itema presents itself in front of 13 countries
In the new headquarters in Nibbia, in the municipality of San Pietro Mosezzo in the province of Novara, where a production plant characterized by high levels of quality and innovation has been operational since October, the inauguration ceremony took place on 16 May. Present were more than 100 delegates from bio-pharmaceutical industries from all over Europe from 13 different countries, namely Italy, Finland, France, Greece, Germany, Latvia, Morocco, Holland, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland and Hungary.
The ceremony began with the usual message from the authorities in the person of the Mayor of San Pietro Mosezzo, Giuseppe Brognoli, who underlined the importance of new industrial initiatives for the growth of the territory, both from a technological and employment point of view.
Anthony Zheng, CEO of Tofflon Group, then spoke on stage, thanking Itema for the precious contribution in the development of his Group’s new headquarters in Italy and, in the year of the 31st anniversary of the birth of Tofflon, he recalled “As one of the founders, I am proud of our journey, full of countless challenges and great achievements. Now, in our thirty-first anniversary year, we mark a new milestone by establishing Tofflon’s first manufacturing base in Europe, reflecting our commitment to providing even more efficient and convenient services for our customers in Europe and America. On the journey ahead, we look forward to collaborating closely with companies, universities and research institutes in Novara, Italy and across Europe.”
