A clear objective, that is, to promote and enhance one of the most beautiful and historic gardens in Puglia, making the peculiarities, potential and possible uses of such a fascinating and prestigious place known to a wider audience. We are talking about the Villa Comunale of Trani which this year marks the bicentenary of its foundation.
An ambitious project born thanks to the newly formed Trani section of Italia Nostra in agreement with the Municipality of Trani, various Associations, but also Schools, the Order of Architects BAT and the Polytechnic of Bari.
Opening of the events with guided tours in the “Italia Nostra cultural heritage week” thanks to special guides such as the students of the participating institutes. A seminar at Palazzo Beltrani, dedicated precisely to urban parks and gardens, inaugurated the cultural activities to support the celebrations of the bicentenary of the Villa.
