The State Police arrests a 23-year-old for drug dealing
The Brindisi State Police, as part of an operation aimed at combating drug dealing, arrested a 23-year-old young man for possession for the purposes of drug dealing. The operation, prepared by the Brindisi Police Commissioner Giampietro Lionetti, took place across the entire provincial territory.
During the house search, carried out by the Flying Squad police with the aid of a dog unit, approximately 103.4 grams of marijuana and 464.3 grams of hashish were found. Most of the hashish was hidden in the home’s refrigerator, sealed in vacuum bags among regular foods.
In addition to the drugs, officers found a precision scale, packaging material and a significant sum of cash. At the end of the formalities, the young man was transferred to the Brindisi prison, at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
