Work is underway in the city the installation of colored pictograms that will help cyclists – be they tourists or citizens – to orient themselves in the ever-widening network of cycle paths in the city.
Specifically, here are the routes that have been laid: itinerary 4 (red): completed (except for some pictograms in correspondence with sections that will be asphalted shortly); purple itinerary 7: the section from the Bicigrill to the Cavalleggeri bridge has been completed (the section between the Cavalleggeri bridge and the Dame di Sion bridge will be built after the asphalting works); pink itinerary 6: the section between the Cavalleggeri bridge and via Maso Smalz was completed. The remaining part will be installed this week.
The “Bicipolitana” is a project of the Municipality of Trento, managed at a communication level by the Tourism Company, to develop a clear and well-organised urban cycle network and thus encourage travel on two wheels for tourists and residents.

The project imagines the cycle network as a metropolitan servicewhich colors the city thanks to the identification of 15 main itineraries, easily identifiable thanks to specific signs on the pavement and a practical map to easily orient yourself in the area.
The Bicipolitana is also a map created with the Trento Tourist Board (see attachment): the fold-out map shows the main itineraries that cross the city, with an indication of the travel times of the various routes.
Each itinerary is characterized by a number and a color reported both on the map and on the horizontal signs present on the route, so as to make the choice of direction intuitive for cyclists.
