UDINE – It was arrested in flagrante delicto a 26-year-old, Italian citizen of Bangladeshi origins, for aggravated theft in the All’Opera pizzeria in via Cividale.
It was he who was the first to notice the blow – which was still underway the owner of the place, who noticed a stranger from the surveillance cameras move inside the pizzeria. The police were immediately alerted and the timely intervention of the agents of the flying squad of the Udine Police Headquarters made it possible to catch him in the act, when he was rummaging through the shelves in the kitchen. Caught red-handed, the thief was subjected to a personal search. He hid banknotes of various denominations on him for a total of 50 euros and a mobile phone owned by the owner of the pizzeria.
The man was then taken to the Police Headquarters offices for identification and referred, under arrest, to the Judicial Authority for the crime of aggravated theft. When validating the arrest, the investigating judge ordered the precautionary measure of the obligation to report to the police on a daily basis.
