On 16 April the Italian Senate resolved to establish the order of pedagogists and educators. “This is a historic event which, finally, aligns Italy with the rest of Europe and the world, recognizing pedagogical science as a fundamental part of the growth and development, in boys and girls, of the best developmental capacity and of coexistence”, says Daniele Novara, author and pedagogist. “A science, the pedagogical one, of which schools still feel a great need”.
