The youngest swimmers continue to collect medals Underwater swimming Faenza: from the last two qualifying weekends to Summer regional championship for Beginners B and Beginners A (CREB – CREA) staged in Pinarella di Cervia and in Forlì, good confirmations and pleasant surprises arrive. In the Beginners A category, Alberto Fabbri (winner in the 100 butterfly and 400 IM as well as second in the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM) and Linda Martelli (first in the 100 freestyle and 200 IM and second in the 100 breaststroke) beat the competition, while they shine the third places of Matilde Zama in the 100 butterfly and Marta Zini in the 100 breaststroke. The women’s 4 for 100 freestyle relay with Martelli, Bandini, Pini, Zama achieved success and the women’s 4 for 100 medley relay with Tamburini, Della Monica, Zama, Martelli achieved a good third place.
In the Beginners B category Elena Coveri wins in the 200m breaststroke, Emma Alpi is third in the 50m butterfly, Sophie Tassinari takes third place in the 100m breaststroke and in the 200m freestyle. The Finals for Rookies B are scheduled for June 9th in Carpi, while those for Rookies A will take place from July 3rd to 5th in Ravenna.
Meanwhile, the end of the sports season is coming for the artistic swimming girls who will return to the pool on Sunday 26 May in Casalecchio di Reno for the Uisp regional final.

In the youth water polo sector, the Under 13 team is awaiting the 14th and final day of the regular season of the Uisp regional championship in which it will receive the visit of Penta Modena on Sunday 26 May at 10.30. Worth mentioning is the summer water polo introductory course which will take place in the pools of the municipal swimming pool in Piazzale Pancrazi from 10 June to 26 July on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.15pm to 7pm and on Fridays from 9am to 10.15am. The masters of in-depth photography of Nuoto Sub Faenza are about to return to the limelight and for Saturday 25 May they are organizing, in collaboration with the provincial section of Fipsas of Ravenna and Sub Delphinus, the 28th City of Faenza Trophy – 6th Antonio Taroni Memorial – 3rd Carlo Donati Memorial in the waters of Lake Standiana in Savio di Ravenna, the traditional underwater photography competition valid for qualification for the Italian Championship.
