The women of the “Women’s Project” in Naples

For the “Women’s Project” of the diocesan Caritas-Fondazione San Vito Onlus, for years now an educational trip has been organized at the end of the annual workshops. The Tunisian women who attend the project thus have the opportunity to get to know Italy by visiting one city after another, realizing that every time it is a new experience. This year the trip was organized in Naples, a city to be discovered with the art of Caravaggio, the songs of Pino Daniele, the curiosity of Pulcinella, the tradition of nativity scenes. Cultural sites, moments of lightheartedness but also an opportunity for comparison with other realities. In Scampia, for example, the women of the Project met the women of the APS “Fhenix” (Citta Nuova Foundation). The meeting took place at the social tailor’s shop in the Neapolitan neighborhood, a work that inspires and generates hope for the area and for those who still don’t know they have a street. «Our women returned to Mazara with an additional experience and with a new desire to know the destination of their next trip», said the President of the San Vito Onlus Foundation, Vito Puccio, who accompanied them to Naples.
