The Giallorossi coach commented on the latest news regarding the orange club at the end of the victory in the play-off final
The Ravenna wins the playoffs in group D of Serie D, thanks to a 2-1 victory in extra time against Corticella in the final played on Sunday afternoon at Benelli. A bitter consolation for the Giallorossi team who, four days before the end of the regular season, were forced to leave the top spot Carpi (promoted to Serie C) after the revolution in the standings following the exclusion from the championship of Pistoia.
And it is precisely for this reason that the news from Pistoia did not go unnoticed. The sacrifice of the Aglianese sports title to resurrect the orange club (in fact only the official status is missing, but the new club will be called Pistoia Football Club) didn’t really go down well with the Giallorossi coach Massimo Gadda who during the pre-race press conference thus expressed his disagreement with this affair which would allow the new one Pistoia to play in Serie D again next season: «These are football dynamics that have already been observed, even very close to us. But seeing that a team that distorted the championship could be Ravenna’s opponent again next year, I confess, bothered us.”
