Endurance, the Aosta Valley riders shine in Rome

Five competitors in the top ten of the category at the overall Italian championships

Excellent results for the Aosta Valley riders who competed in Rome in the absolute Italian Endurance championships in the Ranieri federal equestrian center in Campello.

Five Aosta Valley competitors entered the Top Ten in the category. Four other athletes from the Equi.Libres du Mont Blanc team, despite the technical and selective path, managed to stand out on a national level by finishing the races in the TOP 10 of the best Italian pairs.

On Friday 17 May, the 15-year-old athletes Lisa Rocher riding Jaffar Assam and Amelie Garin with Anouk des Baraques took part in the 100 km CEIJ* category reserved for young riders, finishing in 8th and 7th position respectively. . On Saturday 18 May, the sisters Martina and Giorgia Pisano, riding Monello Alfabia and AMH Assan, achieved 6th and 8th position respectively in the 120 km CEIJ** category reserved for Under 21 riders.

The rider Alessia Lustrissy also did well, in her first year in the Senior category, finishing the CEI2* 120 km among the great Italian teams. Alessia and her Deporto finished this tough test in 10th place at an average of 15.2 km/h on a very technical and demanding course.
