Birra Peroni employees participating in Safety day

(AGR) Last May 17th, for the second consecutive year, Birra Peroni stopped the activities of the Rome plant and the Saplo malthouse in Pomezia for 4 hours so as to allow all employees to participate in the company’s Safety Day, a day dedicated to the theme of health and safety at work.

The initiative, open to the over 800 people who work at Birra Peroni, including the factories, malthouses, sales network and head quarters in Rome, is part of the company’s “#ICare” program, a program that deals with 360° well-being: from safety to social well-being, passing through physical and mental well-being. The day was divided into moments of involvement, connection between people and reflection on individual behaviors to adopt to avoid accidents and on the importance of taking care of oneself and of others, at work as well as outside. Through online and offline sessions, moments of discussion and the grounding of good practices, it was analyzed how personal responsibility is an essential element for individual well-being and that of those around us. A responsibility, combined with the high safety standards guaranteed by Birra Peroni, which requires constant collaboration and mutual attention to keep the workplace healthy and safe.
