The Co.n.al.pa. donate 10 young Tamarisk trees to the Montesilvano Libertà Park.
A green festival, The Green Party, took place yesterday at the Parco della Libertà. “This time too the Sogni & Percorsi Cultural Association proposed an original, engaging and exciting experience, despite the rain not allowing all the planned activities…a shame for those who weren’t there.” The architect explains. Sara Tarricone, president of the Association. “Many “Paths” are planned. The enthusiasm and passion of Guido Morelli who described to us the riches of the arboreal heritage of the area, with whom we will certainly share new paths, is priceless. The emotion received from the Painting in the Green Path in which the “little artists” participated in the workshop despite the bad weather forcing them “all under a gazebo”, but they will certainly retain a positive memory of this moment. The meetings are always new opportunities and certainly constitute what remains positive from these experiences of conviviality.”
The National Tree and Landscape Coordination wanted to donate 10 young Tamarisk trees at the Montesilvano Freedom Park. A gesture possible thanks to the 5×1000 donations made to Co.n.al.pa. which is continually committed to the protection and enhancement of trees and urban greenery. “The trees will be used to increase the arboreal heritage of the Montesilvano park”, explains the president of Co.n.al.pa. national Alberto Colazilli, “With the 5×1000 our association promotes and supports many actions for the landscape, environmental education activities and allows the donation of trees to city parks, schools and to reforest urban spaces.” “The Tamarisk is one of the symbolic trees of our Pescara coast”, explains Annalisa Petrucciani, president of Co.n.al.pa. Pescara-Chieti. “We find it in many gardens on the seafront, it manages to live in the sand of the beaches, it resists drought, high and low temperatures very well and is a characteristic tree of the Mediterranean scrub. Our gesture of donating Tamarisks to the Parco della Libertà aims to be a moment to raise awareness towards the conservation and enhancement of city parks. In the hope that in the future there may be new actions like this in favor of our territory.”
