The Democratic Party of Massa Lombarda has organized a meeting for tomorrow, Monday 20 May, with the candidate of the North East constituency in the European elections, Alessandra Moretti, which will be held at 6pm in the external area of the Fruit Growing Museum in Viale Amendola, 40.
However, the meeting with the candidate Annalisa Corrado, which was scheduled for Tuesday 21st at 6pm at the Parco della Pace, in via GB Sangiorgi, has been postponed to a later date.
The European Parliament is the only directly elected EU institution. Its 705 deputies will represent around 450 million citizens over the next 5 years.
“On 8 and 9 June we will be called to renew it and it will be up to us to choose the candidates who best represent us for the Europe we like: fair, sustainable and inclusive – they comment from the party -. A Europe that will have to be social, because work and welfare are the basis on which we have built the European model; green, because environmental protection and the fight against the climate emergency are the great challenges of our time; right, because the rights of everyone mean equality, cultural richness and democracy”.
