The beautiful Basilicata is the scene of «Linea Verde». From Maratea to the oldest villages of the Pollino National Park, they are at the center of the new appointment with the program broadcast today at 12.20 on Rai 1. In Chiaromonte we will meet a woman who, many years ago, decided to dedicate herself to sheep and goat breeding and the production of cave-matured cheeses, while in Maratea we will visit the tourist port with an expert fisherman, who a fishing trip will take place, while in Castronuovo di Sant’Andrea, in the splendid area of the Pollino National Park, you will enter an ancient mill that still produces “mischiglio flour”, a typical product of southern Basilicata, made up of wheat , legumes and cereals. The story of the mix will continue in Calvera, where some women will make «raschiatelli», a typical Lucanian fresh pasta.
And again, in Maratea, a particular truffle hunt will be told, in the pine forests on the seaside of the city, while in Calvera the chef Pino Golia will prepare a tasty first course, made with mischiglio flour. In Lagonegro we will explore the special bond of the famous artist Pino Mango with his hometown, and we will retrace the history of an ancient legend that links the locality to the famous woman portrayed by Leonardo da Vinci, namely Mona Lisa.
