The anticipation for the ‘Sanremo del ballet’ is growing. Next Thursday, May 23rd, the sixth edition of the national compilation ‘Italia Musica’ will be staged at the maxi dancing ‘Tris’ in Schieppe, in Terre Roveresche. The event will have the well-known face of TV Stefania Orlando as host and will see the elite of artists who interpret dance music taking turns on the stage of the ‘historic’ Metaurense venue, a point of reference for over 40 years for rhythm enthusiasts. The event bears the signature of the Associazione Musicale Primavera, chaired by the former singer-songwriter Sergio Boldorini and has obtained the patronage of the Municipality of Terre Roveresche, the Province of Pesaro and Urbino and the Marche Region, in consideration of the fact that this genre of music and the orchestras that offer it represent a piece of local and Italian tradition and culture.
“The ‘basic’ orchestra will be that of maestro Luca Bergamini and as super guests we will have the singer Michele (the interpreter of ‘Se mi visoriamo’, ‘Susan dei marino’ and many other successes, ed.) and the smooth dance duo and pop composed by Omar and Aurora Codazzi – explains Boldorini – During the evening, which will begin at 9pm, the public will be able to simply listen to the songs, but also let loose to the tunes of true institutions of couple, group and Latin American dances.” . They are Elena Cammarone, Ilaria Cenciarini, of Ballaonda, Fabrizio Guidi and the Accademia, Andrea Bonifazi, Matteo Tassi, Castellina Pasi, Daniela Cavanna, Gianpiero Vincenzi, Manuel Malanotte, Tony Gullo, Federica Cocco, Stefania Cento, Michael Capuano, Gianni Drudi and Roberto Scaglioni, Simona Quaranta and Sara & Sogno Mediterraneo.
“What led me to create this event and to propose it every year with growing enthusiasm – continues Sergio Boldorini – is the love I have always had for dance music and for the joy it is capable of transmitting. If we want, it is a a simple but extremely communicative artistic form, capable of uniting generations that are very distant from each other in other fields and arousing common emotions. Few things, like this type of musical expression, are able to unite people and give rise to the desire to spend moments of joy together. And then dancing is also an excellent physical activity and as well as being good for the spirit, it keeps us young and fit, even when our identity card seems to suggest otherwise.”
Boldorini is truly ‘in love’ with his creation: “I am happy and proud that they have named it ‘The Sanremo of dancing’ and I hope to continue for many years to come”.
