Today with Pesaro Danza Focus a dance festival explodes in the Italian Capital of Culture 2024, on the initiative of the Municipality of Pesaro with Amat as part of TeatrOltre, a festival characterized by multidisciplinarity. It starts at 5pm at the Sala della Repubblica with Lo que los árboles no cuentan with the dancers Héctor Plaza and Kiko López, a dance confrontation between living beings with trees and nature. Héctor Plaza began his relationship with movement at a young age through sport and martial arts. He later immersed himself completely in the culture of Break Dance. In 2012 he began his training as a contemporary dance dancer and since then he has never stopped researching and training. Kiko López is a Valencian dancer and choreographer living in Barcelona. You are the director and choreographer of your company, Cia. Kiko López & Cia. New. Her training includes hip hop, contemporary dance, tribal dance and modern jazz, studied in prestigious academies such as the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Debbie Reynolds Studio and the Broadway Dance Center NY. At 6pm, again at the Sala della Repubblica, the bodies of the young dancers Alessandra and Roberta Indolfi move like mirror neurons, those that allow us to enter into relationships with others, in the performance Io. You. Me and you. You and I. We. They. Us and them. A dance show freely inspired by Saramago’s novel, Blindness by Virgilio Sieni with original music by Fabrizio Cammarata ignites research on the idea of the body, at the Rossini Theater at 7pm.
