Hectic moments inside the headquarters of the Municipality of Caserta, where at 2pm today one of the employees attempted to attack a manager.
The man, armed with a collar, tried to break into the office of the manager, who among his delegations also has that of the staff. In the Town Hall in Piazza Vanvitelli, however, the attack did not take place, as the manager managed to lock himself in his office. The employee, seized by anger, kicked and hit the door with the knife, before running away.
Terror in the corridors of the municipality, with the other colleagues who locked themselves in their respective offices in panic. The police immediately intercepted the attacker, whose escape did not last long.
The man was blocked by officers of the Municipal Police and the State Police in Piazza Mercato, a few hundred meters from the municipal building. He had a knife and scissors on him, which were seized from him before he was taken to the local police station.
