An update after yesterday’s bad weather was expected in the morning and in fact, at the end of the new meeting of the Crisis Unit set up in the Town Hall in Monza the hydrometric level of the Lambro at 10.00 am dropped to 1.80 metres, equal to the threshold of attention and no longer alert.

For this reason the COC – Municipal Operations Center – has decided to reopen the bridges in the city: the Civil Protection technicians are therefore gradually restoring vehicular transit, starting from the bridge in via Lecco onto via Aliprandi.

To date, however, they remain closed to traffic until the evening the via Boccaccio, Gerardo dei Tintori, Annoni (only in the section at the intersection with via Zanzi) and the underpass of via Lario. Just as Monza Park and the Royal Gardens remain closed today, while Viale Cavriga is passable only to vehicular traffic.

The NOAQ artificial barriers set up yesterday afternoon are gradually being removed by volunteers to clear the roads.

The ZTL gates in the center will remain switched off throughout today, May 16th.

Any updates will follow
