The activity must be ensured by the association with its own vehicle and teams made up of two volunteers, guaranteeing two patrolling shifts every day from 9 am to 9 pm.
The six areas of greatest vulnerability, which the Park Authority intends to monitor and patrol, are:
– Toritto – Altamura SP 159: La Sentinella – Il Quarto – Bosco L’Università section, falling between the territories of Toritto and Altamura;
– Corato SP 19: from Zecchinello – Cecibizzo – Mediana delle Murge to the intersection with the SP234 and continuation to Castel del Monte in the Andria countryside;
– Ruvo di Puglia locality Bosco Scoparella – Lama Ferratella;
– SP 230 locality Povera Vita – Masseria Ciminiero;
– Altamura – Cassano delle Murge – Santeramo in Colle – Murgia Sgolgore – Masseria Giustino – Sant’Angelo;
– Minervino Murge west side FDR Acquatetta locality Guadagnati – Coste Cirillo and north-east side;
The selected subjects will be awarded a maximum contribution equal to 11 thousand euros reporting the expenses incurred.
The interested associations will have until 12 noon on 30 May 2024 to send the application for admission and all the necessary documentation to the address [email protected], indicating as the subject “Application for the agreement for AIB monitoring in the Parco Nazionale dell’ Alta Murgia”.
