TREVISO – On May 23rd Treviso will turn pink again. Stage number 18 of the Giro d’Italia passes. And if on the one hand there is a celebration also in the capital of the Marche, on the other there will be road closures and early exits from schools. In the Fiera di Primiero – Padua stage of 178 kilometers the Giro d’Italia will enter the province from the Destra Piave to the Fener bridge to reach the municipality of Valdobbiadene passing through Guia, Col San Martino, Sernaglia della Battaglia, Falzè di Piave, Ponte della Priula, Spresiano, Villorba and Treviso from Viale della Repubblica (West Road) and Via Noalese towards Padua. West Road where the Intergiro is located, near Pinarello, will therefore be closed to traffic from 1pm to approximately 4pm. For Serena middle school the exit is brought forward to 11.45am instead of 1.35pm. The day before, on May 22nd, the 68 kilometer stage, Valdobbiadene – Passo del Bricon of Giro E number 17, i.e. the Giro d’Italia for amateur cyclists on electric bikes, will start from Valdobbiadene. The following day the Giro E will start from San Biagio di Callalta with stage number 18, 78 kilometers long and arriving in Padua. The Giro E stage will pass through Olmi, then Lanzago and Fiera, entering the Put in Viale Nino Bixio, Viale Cairoli and Viale Montegrappa and then joining the professional Giro route along the Noalese at Quinto and Zero Branco at 3.30 pm. Returning to the professionals, the penultimate stage, number 20 on Saturday 25 May, the one with the double climb to Monte Grappa, will start from Alpago to arrive in Bassano del Grappa. The transit in the Marca will take place from the Sella Fadalto continuing to Vittorio Veneto, Revine, Tarzo, the Muro di Cà del Poggio, Refrontolo, Pieve di Soligo, Sernaglia della Battaglia again, the Vidor Bridge, Crocetta del Montello, Cornuda, Pederobba, Possagno, Crespano, Semonzo.
