Rares Burnete he continued to score. This season there are 10 goals and 3 assists in 23 games and 2 appearances in the Youth League, but he had his best season last year when he scored 19 goals in 31 games, not counting the various Cups and final stages of the championship, a total of 4 assists, 21 goals in 35 games.
A haul that earned him the call of Roberto D’Aversa in the last pre-season and his debut in the first match against Lazio which allowed him to make a very important assist for the final victory of the match. In short, a series of situations that were triggering very well and seemed to definitively launch him into professional football.
Lecce started well, with Krstovic as the sole striker who scored in bursts in the first 4 matches and with Piccoli elbowing behind to win a starting place. A situation that impairs him and prevents him from making other small appearances. Burnete renews with Lecce?
The Romanian striker has now become overage for the Primavera team, so next year he will necessarily have to make the leap into big-league football. His contract with Lecce expires in June 2025 and therefore we will need to understand whether to extend it or find a different arrangement.

In the meantime, Burnete has changed his agent and will be in Salento in the next few weeks to understand what the Salento club’s intentions are towards his client and act accordingly. Burnete has a market in Belgiumthe first requests for information to his entourage have arrived from top-flight clubs and certainly if there is no extension of the contract, the situation could evolve in this direction.
