Fifteen days after the stop in the polls before the European elections – and three weeks after the vote – the gap between the Brothers of Italy and the Democratic Party is narrowing again. Having eliminated the prospect of a direct clash on TV between the two leaders, in this week’s YouTrend / Agi Supermedia, obtained with a weighted average of national polls on voting intentions, the Dems nibble another two tenths off the prime minister’s list, which remains stable at 27.2%, the lowest point since the government took office Giorgia Meloni. Elly Schlein instead he smiles at a result now firmly above 20%. Instead, the M5S has lost ground – three tenths in the last two weeks Giuseppe Conte which is now below 16%.

The fight continues on the edge of decimals between the Lega and Forza Italia for the place of second strength of the centre-right: this week the Carroccio rises again and returns to catch up with the Azzurri of Antonio Tajani. rapprochement of the ‘fighting package’ between the three lists aiming to exceed 4%, never so close as today. Emma Bonino And Matteo Renzi do not go beyond 4.6% with the United States of Europe, Alleanza Verdi Sinistra rises by a tenth to 4.2%, while Carlo Calenda this week it reaches the threshold thanks to the two tenths gained in comparison with the data from the previous two weeks taken into consideration by Supermedia.

The results published today are obtained on the basis of surveys carried out from 2 to 15 May, and were carried out on 16 May based on the sample size, the date of implementation and the data collection method. The surveys considered were carried out by the institutes Demopolis (publication date: 8 May), EMG (12 May), Eumetra (9 May), Quorum (6 and 13 May), SWG (6 and 13 May) and Tecnè (11 May ). The detailed methodological note of each survey considered is available on the website www.sondaggipoliticoelettorali.it.
