Among the protagonists of the great musical event 2024 edition, also Bolle di Malto.

The first appointment of the Torino Jazz Festival Piemonte will be on May 24th in Turin, ending on October 5th in the Novara area. The calendar includes 26 concerts in 16 municipalities in Piedmont which will involve over 100 artists from the 8 provinces of the region. The first of the concerts will be in Turin at the headquarters of the Reale Mutua Archive Museum, which will be possible to visit for the occasion.

The festival was born from the institutional relationship between the Turin Culture Foundation and the Turin Jazz Festival with the Piemonte dal Vivo Foundation, in collaboration with the Piemonte Jazz Consortium. The project benefits from the shared artistic direction of Stefano Zenni (director of the Torino Jazz Festival), Fulvio Albano and Diego Borotti (Consorzio Piemonte Jazz) and the Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo. The festival is organized with the support of Reale Mutua and the sponsors Ancos APS and Confartigianato Imprese Piemonte.

«We are proud to present today in Biella the sixth edition of TJF Piemonte, born in 2019 from the collaboration between Piemonte dal Vivo, Fondazione per la Cultura Torino and the Piemonte Jazz Consortium, united by the passion for music and the irreducible conviction of spreading the great talents of jazz music throughout the regional territory – declared Matteo Negrin, director of Piemonte dal Vivo -. Thanks to the collaboration with the TJF and the Consorzio Piemonte Jazz, together with the participation of local partners and the support of the sponsors, this year the TJF Piemonte will involve over 100 artists in theatres, squares and other unusual contexts – characterized by a ‘authentic artistic and landscape beauty – with 26 events starting from the month of May».

«I am happy that the musical energy released by the Torino Jazz Festival throughout the city is now spreading throughout the region, thanks to the Torino Jazz Festival Piemonte. A unique project in Italy, which travels to all the provinces, further amplifying the spirit of the Turin festival: big international names, young musicians with fresh ideas, masters of Italian jazz, and above all the openness to the most diverse genres, including electronic and rap. Because jazz is now increasingly the lingua franca of the best music today” declares Stefano Zenni, director of the Torino Jazz Festival.

«Torino Jazz Festival Piemonte, a shared showcase of the excellent realities active in the area, today has an international profile. It is a widespread festival – promoted and created by Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo, Fondazione per la Cultura Torino and Consorzio Piemonte Jazz – which unfolds along a varied route, discovering evocative places in Piedmont. PJ continues its function as a collector of resources, of knowledge, of public requests, of new actors: a patient journey punctuated by jazz music and its languages that validate tradition, history, contemporaneity and innovation of this immortal music” add Fulvio Albano and Diego Borotti for the Piemonte Jazz Consortium.
