Having archived the first legs of the First Round of the National Phase of the Serie C playoffs (with the return matches scheduled for Saturday 18 May), a new appointment is back with Aperi C, the broadcast broadcast every Wednesday at 7pm on Lega Pro Official, the YouTube channel of the third Italian league. Guest in the Milanese studios, the captain of Arezzo Andrea Settembrini, who made 33 appearances this season and spoke thus of his bond with the club, as an Arezzo native: “It is a pride and an honor for me to wear the captain’s armband of the team I followed as a child. Last year I decided with my heart to go down to Serie D and it wasn’t easy, but the choice paid off as we managed to win the championship, returning to the professionals.”
The moment of the season, with the playoffs just entering the key phase, could only be the subject of analysis by the amaranth captain: “Our season was positive, we reached eighth place as newly promoted players and with many young players. I would have liked to play the first round at home, which we then lost, against Juventus Next Gen, but I am satisfied. The playoffs are a league apart, unpredictable. Three years ago, when I wore the Padova shirt, I had the misfortune of losing the final against Palermo, despite playing in a very strong team. This year everyone can win: from Vicenza to Catania, passing through Torres and Carrarese.”
