The Provincial Secretariats of Feneal Uil, Filca Cisl and Fillea Cgil of Foggia announce with satisfaction the signing of the agreement for the renewal of the provincial supplementary stone contract, which expired on 30 June last year. The signing took place at the Confindustria Foggia headquarters.
“After months of exhausting negotiations, protests, strikes, demonstrations and meetings, with satisfaction we can finally announce the signing of the agreement for the renewal of the provincial stone supplement – declare the General Secretaries of Feneal Uil, Filca Cisl and Fillea Cgil of Foggia Severino Minischetti, Giuseppe Villani and Savino Tango -. It was not easy to reach an agreement with Confindustria, but the dialogue and bargaining produced their fruits. In particular, we record the agreement on the ‘Assiduity bonus’ which goes to 280 euros per month, therefore with an increase of 57 euros per month. Then, the canteen allowance goes from 5.29 Euros gross on the pay slip to the electronic meal voucher of 6.50 Euros net, in practice it is doubled”.
In addition, workers secure a ‘one-off’ payment in the month of August, equal to 250 Euros, and the 258 Euros of fuel vouchers are confirmed, which are paid in the December month. “We note the newfound availability of the Stone sector of Confindustria Foggia – underline the general secretaries Minischetti, Villani and Tango – As we have had the opportunity to highlight in these months of negotiations, the focus was on the situation of workers struggling with inflation and the increase in the cost of living, as well as the shopping cart, factors which have a heavily negative impact on power of wages and of the pockets of those who sacrifice themselves every day in a complex, difficult, tiring and risky job”.
