On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of its foundation, NeASS, the Network that brings together 35 Social Companies from the Municipalities of Lombardy, organized a meeting on Wednesday 15 May 2024, at Palazzo Arese Borromeo in Cesano Maderno (MB), to remember the important milestone of association and take stock of future projects.
It was also an opportunity to bring together representatives of the associates from across the regional territory, who play an important and strategic role in the territories, offering numerous welfare services for the benefit of citizens and all stakeholders.
The first part of the meeting was dedicated to the annual General Members’ Assembly with the renewal of the statutory bodies. Councilor Loredana Collu was elected as president of NeASS, taking over the position left vacant by the resigning Luigi Boffi. The newly elected President, thanking everyone for the trust received, proposed to the Assembly to appoint Boffi himself as honorary President of NeASS, receiving unanimous applause from all members.
In addition to its members, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its foundation, NeASS wanted at its side all the interlocutors and partners with whom it shared a path of growth and development in support of the communities. The Coordinator of the Welfare Department participated for ANCI Lombardia Anna Wonder. The outgoing President himself, Luigi Boffi, during his speech, thanked Anci Lombardia for the precious collaboration carried out. Also mentioned during the event was the research promoted by ANCI and NeASS and conducted by AnciLab, on the forms of associated management in Lombardy of social services and projects implemented through instrumental bodies established by the Municipalities, recently presented.
