Brescia is among the worst Italian cities for nightlife and entertainment. It is actually placed in the middle of the ranking, in twenty-fifth place out of a total of 50 cities examined: but it is still (almost) in the lower part of the ranking, and the overall score – calculated on the measurement of various factors – is far from sufficient , with a “vote” of 3.78 (out of 10) compared to the near excellence of Rome and Milan (both at 9.5) and the votes of Florence (6.94), Naples (6.51) and Venice (6.27), respectively in third, fourth and fifth place in Italy.

This was revealed by the latest study published by BonusFinder Italia, which analyzed the 50 largest cities in Italy (Brescia in this sense is in sixteenth place) taking into account various factors that characterize the entertainment experience, including the number of bars and restaurants, the availability of hotels, the presence of clubs and discos, the average price of hotels, transfer costs to and from airports (for the more curious: full details at this link).

Movida: the Italian ranking

Rome and Milan come in first place, as mentioned, with a score of 9.5 out of 10. With over 10 thousand bars and restaurants and almost 9,600 in Milan, and dozens of nightclubs and discos (34 in Rome and 27 in Milan) , cities offer a wide range of nightlife options. A painful note is the hotel prices: they are among the highest in the study and are around 300 euros. Cocktail prices follow the same trend, no less than 10 euros on average in Rome, 12 euros in Milan.

On the lowest step of the podium is Florence (score of 6.9 out of 10). Renowned for its artistic and architectural beauty, Florence does not disappoint when it comes to entertainment: 2,700 bars and restaurants, 12 clubs and discos, cocktails at 8 euros, average hotel prices at 270 euros. In fourth place is Naples (more than 5 thousand bars and restaurants, 2,800 hotels, 11 nightclubs) and in fifth place Venice (1,431 bars and restaurants and 6 nightclubs, but very expensive hotels: 309 euros per night, on average).

Modena, Rimini, Turin, Palermo and Verona also complete the Top 10. Among the worst in the ranking, at the bottom of the Top 50, there are cities such as Foggia, Terni, Sassari, Forlì, Ancora, Reggio Calabria. Brescia is in twenty-fifth place: in the city there are 1,355 bars and restaurants (not bad), 105 hotels, cocktails on sale for no less than 8 euros, average hotel prices at 104 euros per night.
