The Aiutiamoli a Vivere Foundation NGO, having become aware of the presentation of an Act of Address which, as it was presented and unanimously approved by all the political forces of the Municipality of Bologna, states that the role played by the Aiutiamoli a Vivere Foundation since 1991 in the City of Terni in promoting the Temporary Therapeutic Reception of children affected by the Chernobyl plant allowed the dissemination in Italy of an initiative which made it possible to save 600,000 children through the direct involvement of Italian families who from that distant 1991 to today have not have never stopped welcoming a child and making themselves useful to promote concrete solidarity.
With this Act of Address signed by Guido Verdecchia for the Alternativa Popolare group, the Council is asked to support and facilitate the activities of organizations such as those of the Aiutiamoli a Vivere Foundation which, as it had done for the children of Chernobyl, today it works directly with its volunteers in the war zones in Ukraine and Gaza, bringing humanitarian aid and hosting Ukrainian and Palestinian children.
The hope for the Aiutiamoli a Vivere NGO Foundation is that this Act of Address, like the one voted unanimously by the City Council of Bologna, will also be approved unanimously by the City Council of Terni, so that it is recognized in the work of a Non-Governmental Organization born and strongly desired by the City of Terni in 1991, a history founded on concrete solidarity, on love for all children victims of violence, war and nuclear disasters which have made it a national and international point of reference for all those associations and solidarity movements that want to experiment in the context of the Temporary Reception of a child in families or in structures suitable for these forms of reception.
The Aiutiamoli a Vivere Foundation, an NGO which has always operated in the Municipality of Terni, thanks, as it is accustomed to doing and has accustomed its citizens to do, with the purchase of the nuclear accelerator in 1994 and with the creation of the Women’s Health Centre, with the his “THANK YOU, TERNI”.
