A whatsapp group like there are many today, between friends, relatives or work colleagues. What we are talking about is called “Pokerino beverino” and it is the group found in the mobile phone of Lorena Lanceri, the “supplier” of Matteo Messina Denaro, within which you can see a photo of the boss with his head down and his hands on his face – because that evening the “doctor” Franceso Salsi, the name with which he participated in the chat for the evenings at the gaming table – had lost.
While the police searched for the boss throughout the country or around the world, Messina Denaro spent at least one evening a week at the poker table. This is the discovery made by the ROS Carabinieri and the Palermo Prosecutor’s Office, yet another confirmation of how the mafia boss managed to lead a normal life despite being on the run.
The investigators are trying to understand if and which of the players present at the matches knew the true identity of the boss who, Lanceri, sentenced to 13 years and 8 months he had introduced himself to the group of players as the doctor Francesco Salsi.
There are several messages that the mafia boss exchanged with the participants with amused comments on the evenings spent together. We are in 2021. The players met, when the Covid bans were not in force, often at the home of Lanceri and her husband Emanuele Bonafede.
