COSENZA – The trial of the 40-year-old accused for the death of Akim, a Anatolian shepherd of about nine months, killed in the woods of Camigliatello Silano with three stab wounds. The facts date back to the month of October 2020. Akim would have fought with another dog owned by the accused and, although the owner would have managed to pin Akim between his legs, the owner of the other dog, would have pulled out a switchblade and made three slashes, one of which was fatal to the puppy. Akim was rushed to a veterinary clinic but died shortly after his arrival.
Yesterday the hearing of the proceedings opened after the killing of Akim against DN was held and the having heard all the texts on the Prosecutor’s list; people who were in the company of FS, owner of the Anatolian shepherd, when he was stabbed. According to what emerged, i texts fully confirmed what was reported by the offended person. The process was postponed to October 18th and they will be heard two texts from the defendant’s list and the DN himself; then after the arguments of the defenders and the pronouncement of the sentence.
