The Proxima Ragusa cooperative was present this year at the summer school on trafficking and serious exploitation, now in its third edition. The psychologist Caterina Melai participated with a report on inclusion, illustrating the design experiences of the social gardens and social tailoring of Proxima, in the complex and very stimulating initiative promoted by the anti-trafficking toll-free number in Abano Terme, in the province of Padua. The event was intended, in particular, for young operators working in the Italian anti-trafficking system.
“Looks at trafficking and serious exploitation. Reflections between complexity and intersections”: this is the theme that the school wanted to develop during this edition, a theme that was addressed from various facets by the various speakers and which allowed us to experiment with networking and live intersections between all those who participated. “Proxima – says Melai (in the photo) – has always believed in training and we extend our warmest congratulations to the organizers of this complete and complex training opportunity. We thanked the anti-trafficking toll-free number for allowing us to participate in this experience of belonging and growth which, once again, allowed us to verify the steps forward made in the context of increasingly complex projects capable of responding to the needs of whoever needs it.”
